Continuing human development without considering environmental and social conditions has put us on a path of self-destruction. The current pandemic clearly illustrates the need to change how we approach our way of life, both physically and spiritually. Strong political leadership can enact policies that will address Global Warming, but there is no magic bullet. The road to a carbon footprint that will not adversely affect this planet's life is a costly, time-consuming process. In an open letter to President Biden, we suggest that the democratic base must be held while cultivating Republican support to pass Climate legislation. This kind of broad-based participation will only be achieved through education. People must understand how Climate Change will affect their lives and their children, grandchildren, and generations to come.

 

Unless a compelling argument can be made to justify the expense necessary to address Climate Change, the next election may see people vote their pocketbook and elect a leader who will once again promote global warming as a hoax. Partners for Transformative Media's mission is to awake the American public to the danger of Climate Change and compel them to demand change.
